Fastest growing Tile, Ceramic and Sanitaryware companies 2020: CW Survey

Strong domestic demand driven by demographic advantage makes India a very good investment destination. One sector that has witnessed growth backed by these factors is tiles, ceramics and sanitaryware. India ranks second in the world in the sanitaryware industry.

With crises like demonetisation, the pandemic etc, the growth of this sector has been rather low in the last couple of years. However, factors like higher disposable incomes, better standards of living and increasing preference for premium products would lead to a revival in demand for sanitaryware products.

In the ceramics and sanitaryware sector, three companies were recognised as the fastest growing companies at the Construction World Annual Awards 2020, which was held virtually on 22 October 2020.

The panel of jury assessed each nominated company on a qualitative and quantitative basis to come to a ranking consensus.
