JCBL Builds Luxury Caravans for Bihar Tourism

JCBL Limited, part of the JCBL Group, has delivered two luxury caravans to the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC), strengthening the state’s efforts to offer upgraded tourism experiences. Built over a focused three-month period, the caravans are designed to provide high levels of comfort and convenience for travellers.
The vehicles will initially serve day-trip routes to Rajgir, the Valmiki Nagar Tiger Reserve and the Bodhgaya–Nalanda circuits, giving visitors a new premium travel option. Operations will later expand to other destinations within Bihar and select interstate routes, supporting the state’s plans to enhance wildlife and heritage tourism.
Each caravan is designed for flexibility and long-duration travel, featuring four 360-degree reclining seats, a sofa converting into a bed and four sleeper berths with privacy curtains. The units are equipped with five screens, including four smart TVs in the berths and a large LED screen in the lounge. A modular kitchen with essential appliances provides a self-contained environment for extended journeys.
Rajinder Aggarwal, CMD, JCBL Group, said the motorhomes reflect the company’s specialised expertise and focus on travel-enhancing innovations. Dinesh Dua, Business Head – Marketing & Sales, said JCBL values its long-standing association with the Government of Bihar and looks forward to further collaborations. He added that the caravans will be inaugurated by state officials and opened for public bookings soon.
A Bihar Tourism spokesperson noted that the motorhomes align with the state’s objective of offering a more relaxed and comfortable travel experience across major circuits, including Valmiki Nagar, Bodhgaya, Rajgir and Nalanda.
Designed for full-day excursions, the vehicles also include adjustable lighting, 24-hour Wi-Fi, charging points and a compact washroom, ensuring convenience for passengers during long-distance travel and on-road exploration.
