Binani puts Dubai plans on hold

Binani Cement has placed its Dubai expansion plans on hold due to the drop in cement demand in the debt-laden country. It had earlier earmarked $90 mn for expansion in Dubai and China. The company is instead looking to tap Sudan, Kuwait, Iraq and Oman to sell the produce of the Dubai plant.
