Panasonic Showcases Autonomous Factory Solutions

Panasonic Smart Factory Solutions India showcased next-generation autonomous manufacturing solutions at Productronica India 2026 under the theme ‘Autonomous Factory – Skill-less Operations’. The company demonstrated its Surface Mount Technology (SMT) portfolio, including NPM-GP/L, NPM-GH and NPM-TT2 modular placement machines, alongside an integrated ecosystem featuring Koh Young AOI and SPI systems, TSM reflow ovens, and inspection solutions.

The showcase highlighted a complete, end-to-end manufacturing line designed to enhance productivity, precision and efficiency across sectors such as automotive, consumer electronics, telecom and semiconductor manufacturing.

Panasonic emphasised its focus on enabling autonomous, software-driven operations through platforms like PanaCIM and IoT-enabled MirAIe ProFactory, supporting connected, data-driven shopfloors. These solutions aim to reduce skill dependency, improve throughput and enable predictive decision-making.

The advanced SMT systems offer high-speed, high-precision capabilities, with features such as dual-lane operations, rapid cycle times, and multi-recognition technologies, catering to both high-volume and high-mix manufacturing environments.

The company stated that its solutions are aligned with India’s growing role as a global manufacturing hub, enabling scalable, cost-efficient and future-ready production ecosystems.
