Polycab Opens Quick Service Depot in Amritsar

Polycab India has expanded its distribution infrastructure with the launch of a new Quick Service Depot in Amritsar.

The move is aimed at strengthening the company’s supply chain and improving delivery speed, service responsiveness and market reach across Punjab and Jammu.

Spread across about 15,000 sq ft, the depot will support the distribution of Polycab’s product portfolio, including wires and cables, lighting, fans, switches, switchgear, conduits and pipes, and solar products. The facility is expected to enable faster order fulfilment, improve product availability for channel partners and customers, reduce lead times, and ease inventory pressure across the region.

Commenting on the development, Ishwinder Singh Khurana, Executive President and Chief Business Officer (B2C), Polycab India, said, ‘Strengthening our distribution network is a key strategic priority for Polycab. Punjab and Jammu are important markets for us, and the new Quick Service Depot in Amritsar complements our existing warehouse in Zirakpur, further strengthening our regional distribution infrastructure. This facility will significantly enhance service responsiveness by enabling faster deliveries and efficient order fulfilment for our channel partners and customers across the region.’

Polycab said it continues to strengthen its nationwide logistics and distribution infrastructure in line with growing demand across its product portfolio. By expanding its regional warehousing footprint, the company aims to improve supply chain efficiency and ensure quicker product availability across markets.
