Jeetendra, Tusshar Sell Mumbai Data Centre For Rs 5.59bn

Veteran actor Jeetendra and his son Tusshar Kapoor have sold a commercial data centre property in Mumbai’s Chandivali suburb to NTT Global Data Centres for Rs 5.59 billion, according to registration documents shared by real estate consultant Square Yards.

The asset, located in Balaji IT Park, was sold by Tushar Infra Developers Pvt Ltd — owned by Tusshar Kapoor along with Pantheon Buildcon Pvt Ltd, a company linked to Jeetendra. The transaction was officially registered on 9 January.

The deal covers a ground-plus-ten-storey building (DC-10) currently operating as a data centre, along with a neighbouring four-storey diesel generator structure within the IT park. The total transacted area spans approximately 30,195 sq m.

As per a 2024 Maharashtra government resolution applicable to data centre infrastructure, the sale did not attract stamp duty. However, a metro cess of Rs 0.56 million was paid. Square Yards noted that another large data centre transaction worth Rs 8.55 billion had also been registered in the same IT park in May 2025.
