Salasar Bags Rs 687m GIS Substation In Puducherry

Salasar Techno Engineering has secured a Rs 686.7 million Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) project from Power Grid Corporation of India for the Puducherry Electricity Department (PED).

Awarded in December 2025, the contract covers design, engineering, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of a 110/22 kV GIS substation at Lawspet, Puducherry. The project is aimed at strengthening regional power distribution, improving grid reliability and supporting future demand arising from urban and economic expansion.

Shashank Agarwal, Managing Director of Salasar Techno Engineering, said the order marks the company’s continued advancement in the high-voltage substation segment and reinforces its role in supporting India’s evolving power infrastructure through technology-driven solutions.

The project further strengthens Salasar’s position in the country’s transmission and distribution space while contributing to long-term energy security and regional development.

NBCC Wins Rs 550m IOB Office Project In Raipur

State-owned construction major NBCC India Ltd has secured a new domestic work order worth around Rs 550.2 million from Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) in the normal course of business, according to a regulatory filing. The project involves planning, designing, execution and handover of IOB’s new Regional Office building at Raipur. Krystal Wins Rs 2.75bn Vasai–Virar Waste Deals

Krystal Integrated Services Ltd has secured three major municipal solid waste management contracts from the Vasai–Virar City Municipal Corporation (VVCMC) valued at around Rs 2.75 billion. The contracts will run for five years, along with a three-month preparatory phase. The mandates cover end-to-end sanitation services in compliance with the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016.
