Birla Corporation announced that the commissioning of its Rs.24.5 bn Mukutban cement plant is expected by December in Maharashtra, which has been delayed due to the Covid-induced disruptions. The company said that the Mukutban factory’s commissioning in Maharashtra has been delayed by a few months due to the flight of migrant workers from the project site. Mechanical erection work is improving well. Most of the equipment reached the site.
