Delhi Opens Waste-To-Biogas Plant At Ghogha Dairy
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has inaugurated a municipal solid waste-to-compressed biogas (CBG) plant and integrated CBG-CNG fuel station at Ghogha Dairy, marking a major step in the capital’s clean energy efforts.The plant, set up under an MoU signed in January 2022 between the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), will process 100 tonnes of garbage each day to generate 4 tonnes of gas.Speaking at the launch, the Chief Minister said a new chapter was being written in the villages of rural Delhi. India Expands LPG, Gas And Refining Capacity: Puri
Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has said that India’s petroleum and gas sector has undergone a transformation over the last 11 years, with LPG connections rising from 140 million before 2014 to over 330 million today, the gas pipeline network expanding from 14,000 km to more than 22,500 km, and India emerging as one of the fastest-growing refining hubs in the world. Deepak Nitrite Commissions Rs 1.15 Billion Hydrogenation Plant
Deepak Nitrite, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Deepak Chem Tech, has commissioned a new hydrogenation plant at Dahej in Bharuch district, Gujarat. The state-of-the-art facility became operational on 26 September 2025, representing a major milestone in the company’s growth strategy.
