CIDCO to E-Auction 30 Plots Near Navi Mumbai Airport

The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO), the special planning authority for Navi Mumbai, has announced that it will conduct an e-auction of 30 leasehold plots near the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA).
The auction will be held on 16 October, with results declared the following day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate NMIA operations in the coming weeks, along with a partial stretch of Mumbai’s Metro-3 corridor.
According to CIDCO’s notice dated 24 September, the plots will be leased for residential, commercial, bungalow and service industry purposes, as well as for storage and warehousing. The authority will publish a detailed booklet on 29 September, available through its online portal, with exact locations of the plots.
CIDCO has developed 14 nodes in Navi Mumbai, including Airoli, Vashi, Nerul, Belapur, Kharghar, Kamothe, Ulwe, New Panvel and Dronagiri. Land parcels in these areas were originally allotted on 30-year leasehold terms. In July 2025, CIDCO announced that residential plots on leasehold could be converted to freehold, subject to payment of a conversion fee linked to ready reckoner rates.
