Bharat Mala Connects 32 of 33 Telangana Districts With 5200 Km Highways
Union Minister and Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president G Kishan Reddy announced that 32 out of 33 districts in the state are now connected by national highways under the Bharat Mala project. This expansion has increased the total length of national highways in Telangana from 2,500 kilometres before 2014 to 5,200 kilometres at present.Speaking at a press conference in Hyderabad, Reddy stated that the Union government has invested significantly in infrastructure to promote economic development. Mumbai Coastal Road Tunnel from Dadar to Worli to Open by May-End
A new underpass connecting Dadar and Prabhadevi to Worli, part of the Mumbai Coastal Road Project (MCRP), is expected to open for public use by the end of May. The 550-metre-long and eleven-metre-wide tunnel is being constructed beneath Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan Road using the Austrian Tunneling Method. Two Flyovers to Ease Traffic on Delhi-Jaipur Expressway by June End
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is set to begin construction of two new flyovers at Manesar and Bilaspur on the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway by the end of June. The move aims to resolve long-standing traffic congestion and accident risks at these busy intersections.Tenders for the project have already been opened, with eight construction firms participating in the process.
