Gas Natural Fenosa to supply LNG to GAIL

Spain's Gas Natural Fenosa has agreed to supply about 3 bn cu m of LNG to GAIL (India) over the next three years. The supply will begin in January, and is the company's largest contract in this region. This is also the second LNG deal signed by GAIL. The company had earlier entered into a medium-term supply agreement with GDF Suez for sourcing 0.8 mn tonne of LNG from 2013 to 2014. In addition, the two companies have signed an industrial co-operation agreement for the development of energy projects in India.
