ACME Arm Signs 25-Year PPA For 190 MW Hybrid Project

ACME Energy's designated arm has entered into a 25-year power purchase agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India for a 190 MW hybrid renewable project. The agreement secures long-term offtake and formalises the sale of output under a contract with a central procurer. The project is described as hybrid to reflect its use of more than one generation technology and will be developed under the terms agreed with the procurer. It will be structured to meet regulatory obligations.\n\nThe 25-year tenor provides extended revenue visibility for the developer and underpins the project's bankability. The PPA obliges the procurer to purchase the contracted output at stipulated tariffs and thereby reduces market risk for investors and lenders. The capacity will be accounted for in the developer's operational pipeline and is expected to contribute to steady cash flows once commissioned. It may enable staged financial close where applicable.\n\nThe developer will be responsible for construction, commissioning and subsequent operation and maintenance of the hybrid facility and will follow applicable regulatory and technical standards. The structure of the PPA is intended to make the project attractive to prospective lenders and to facilitate access to capital for construction. Project execution timelines were outlined by the company as aligned with policy frameworks and grid integration plans. It will adhere to timelines agreed with grid operators.\n\nMarket participants noted that procurement by central agencies continues to support large-scale renewable deployment and that long-term contracts remain central to investor confidence. The agreement is likely to augment the developer's standing in competitive tenders and to contribute to national targets for renewable capacity addition. Analysts expect the deal to provide a clear revenue runway and to support future bidding activity by the company. Investors will monitor execution and commissioning milestones closely.
