Adani Energy Solutions Acquires Satara Power Transmission

Adani Energy Solutions has completed the acquisition of 100% of the equity shares of Satara Power Transmission. The company executed a share purchase agreement with PFC Consulting on 6 October 2026 at about 5:00 p.m. IST and informed the stock exchanges under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s listing disclosure rules.

The transaction was conducted for cash, with the shares acquired at a face value of Rs. 10 each. Satara Power Transmission has authorised and paid-up share capital of Rs. 0.1 mn each. The transaction is not classified as a related-party transaction, and no governmental or regulatory approvals were required for its completion.

The acquired entity is associated with Adani Energy Solutions’ earlier award of a Rs. 47 bn transmission project in Maharashtra. That project, disclosed on 26 August 2026, is intended to evacuate 4,500 MW of renewable and storage power through infrastructure supporting regional grid connectivity.

Satara Power Transmission has been planned to facilitate an additional 765 kV inter-regional corridor connecting the Southern and Western Region grids. The Narendra–Kolhapur–Satara–Pune III/Pune East corridor is expected to support the movement of renewable power from Karnataka to load centres and pumped storage projects in Satara, Pune and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.

Satara Power Transmission was incorporated in India on 10 July 2026 and is registered with the Registrar of Companies in New Delhi. Adani Energy Solutions said the acquisition forms part of its strategy to pursue organic and inorganic growth in the transmission sector and enhance shareholder value. Detailed disclosures were submitted to BSE under Scrip Code 539254 and to NSE under Scrip Code ADANIENSOL.
