GRE Renew Wins Rs 1.75 bn Solar EPC Contract

GRE Renew Enertech Limited has said it has received a letter of award from Solarium Green Energy Limited for the execution of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) works on a utility-scale ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project. The company has been awarded the contract for an approximately 50 megawatt (MW) AC, 65 MW DC plant and related civil, structural, electrical and allied infrastructure. The letter was received on 30 June 2026 and covers delivery on a turnkey basis.

The aggregate contract value is Rs 1.75 bn exclusive of applicable taxes, comprising Rs 1.7 bn towards the EPC contract and Rs 50 mn towards Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services for a period of three years. EPC and O&M services will be provided in accordance with the terms and schedule set out in the letter of award. Payment terms and project milestones are payable as per the LOA.

The scope of work includes full design and construction of the solar plant together with associated infrastructure and subsequent O&M for 36 months. The contract duration for O&M is three years and execution timelines will follow the project schedule specified by the client. The award is for a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project and aligns with the company’s existing competencies.

GRE Renew Enertech Limited clarified that the order was received in the ordinary course of its EPC business, that neither the promoter group nor related parties have any interest and that the contract does not alter the company’s business model or capital structure. The company said commercial terms are customary and that the disclosure contains factual information only. The firm noted that the award does not constitute forward-looking statements or guarantees of future performance.
