KP Group and Senvion India Plan 2 GW Wind and Hybrid Projects

KP Group — through KPI Green Energy, KP Energy and KP Green Engineering — has signed a framework agreement with Senvion India to jointly develop up to 2 GW of wind and wind-solar hybrid projects across several Indian states over the next three years.

Under the partnership, KP Group will oversee site identification, land acquisition, statutory clearances and complete balance-of-plant work including foundations, roads, electrical infrastructure and grid evacuation. Senvion India will supply wind turbine generators under project-specific contracts.

Faruk G. Patel, Founder and CMD of KP Group, said the collaboration will help scale high-quality renewable-energy assets in India. Amit Kansal, CEO and MD of Senvion India, noted that the turnkey-style model will streamline execution and strengthen accountability from planning to power generation.
