KPI Green and Inox Solar Partner to Build 2.5 GW Projects

KPI Green Energy has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Inox Solar Limited, part of the INOXGFL Group, to jointly develop 2.5 GW of solar and hybrid renewable energy projects across several Indian states. Announced in Surat on 19 November 2025, the collaboration brings together KPI’s project development and execution capabilities with Inox Solar’s expertise in designing and manufacturing advanced solar modules.

Under the MoU, KPI will lead development activities including land acquisition, right-of-way management, statutory clearances and securing connectivity approvals. The company will also manage EPC works, supply steel structures and deliver long-term operation and maintenance services. Inox Solar will provide the solar PV modules required for the projects, ensuring a streamlined supply chain and integrated project execution.

The partnership is designed to enhance the strategic positioning of both companies across the renewable energy value chain. KPI gains assured access to high-quality module technology, boosting its ability to execute large-scale integrated assets, while Inox Solar benefits from KPI’s strong on-ground experience and consistent execution record. Together, the companies aim to accelerate India’s clean-energy transition by delivering high-efficiency solar and hybrid projects.

Both leadership teams stated that the alliance reflects a shared vision to support national renewable-energy targets through scalable, technology-driven and future-ready project development.
