Oswal Pumps has secured an order worth Rs 4.42 billion from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 14,787 solar water pumping systems across the state.

The programme includes three components—Component A for 10,000 MW of small solar power plants, Component B for 14 lakh standalone solar-powered agriculture pumps, and Component C for 35 lakh grid-connected solarised agriculture pumps. Initially targeted for completion by 2022, the scheme has been extended until March 2026 due to pandemic-related delays.
