Power Mech Projects Bags Rs 10 bn EPC Orders From Adani Power

Power Mech Projects has secured work orders totalling Rs 10 billion (bn) from subsidiaries of Adani Power for engineering, procurement and construction of steam generators and turbines at large thermal plants. The orders were announced in an exchange filing and cover construction, testing and commissioning of turbine and generator equipment. The contracts form part of a broader order pipeline for power sector EPC work.

One order, valued at Rs 5.15 bn, was placed by Mirzapur Thermal Energy for the erection, testing and commissioning of steam turbines and generators for a 1,600 megawatt (MW) ultra?supercritical thermal power project. A second award to Mahan Energen relates to a similar steam generator and turbine package, with both projects scheduled for completion within 36 months.

The company highlighted that its Q3 FY26 investor presentation showed order inflows of Rs 67.61 bn so far in FY26, representing 68 per cent of the annual target of Rs 100 bn by the end of the December quarter. Management indicated that priorities remain focused on disciplined execution and broader participation in EPC and balance of plant packages across power, infrastructure and emerging energy segments, and expressed confidence about meeting the FY26 order inflow goal. The presentation also outlined strategic priorities for growth.

In Q3 FY26 Power Mech reported revenue from operations of Rs 14.19 bn, up six per cent year on year from Rs 13.38 bn in the corresponding period, while consolidated profit rose 14 per cent to Rs 940 million (mn) from Rs 820 mn. The firm noted that its stock was flat in Tuesday trade and that the share price had gained 16.19 per cent over the last year while it had declined 30.6 per cent over six months and 2.3 per cent over one month. The company reaffirmed its operational focus and delivery timelines.
