RMC Switchgears Secures Rs 149.87 Mn Order From MAHAVITRAN

RMC Switchgears (the company) has received Letters of Award from MAHAVITRAN — Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MAHAVITRAN) for the design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing and commissioning of off?grid direct current solar photovoltaic water pumping systems.

The contracts relate to delivery at identified farmer sites across districts of Maharashtra under a state allocation process and rate contract and the aggregate contract value is Rs 149.87 mn.

The specified systems comprise off?grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping units of three horsepower, five horsepower and seven point five horsepower capacity and incorporate complete system warranty together with repair and maintenance obligations and the contracts require provision and integration of a remote monitoring system for five years to allow operational oversight, data collection and performance optimisation.

Responsibilities cover end?to?end activities from component manufacturing through transportation to site installation and commissioning, with testing, acceptance and handover to be conducted at site in accordance with contractual terms. The awards have been granted under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana and the PM KUSUM B scheme and are recorded as empanelment with an associated rate contract awarded by a domestic distribution utility. The company confirmed that there are no related party interests and that the promoter group does not have an interest in the awarding entity, and the execution period envisaged under the contract extends over five years with delivery and support to follow contractual milestones.
