SJVN Green Energy Invites EOI For Sale Of 712.90 MWp Solar Modules

SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a subsidiary of SJVN Limited, has invited expressions of interest for the sale of 712.8982 MWp of solar PV modules stored across Gujarat and Maharashtra. The EOI aims to assess market interest and explore commercial avenues for value realisation of the modules, with submissions open until May 14, 2026. Participation is permitted on a lot-wise, block-wise or composite basis.

SGEL identified Das Solar Co Ltd as the supplier for 144.065 MWp of modules in Gujarat located at Village Bhadra Mota in Kutch district. For Maharashtra the supplier for 284.6716 MWp is Econess Energy Co Ltd and Hefei GCL System Integration New Energy Technology Co Ltd will provide 284.1616 MWp at Mu Mohija Paranda, Post Kurula, Tehsil Kandhar, District Nanded. Together the suppliers account for a total of 712.8982 MWp of monocrystalline modules including bifacial double glass and Mono PERC types.

The EOI sets an indicative lot size of 50 MWp while inviting inputs on quantity, logistics and lifting mechanisms to refine a subsequent tender or auction process. SGEL will evaluate market responses to determine the most appropriate disposal mechanism, which may include competitive bidding or tendering and other modalities as deemed suitable. The company emphasised that final allocation, pricing mechanisms and engagement models will be decided after internal approvals.

Interested parties are required to note that participation does not confer any claim or right arising from the indicative process and that SGEL retains full discretion in the selection of the disposal route. The EOI process will be used principally to structure a potential sale and to gather market feedback that will inform the next-stage procurement. Responses received will guide SGEL in preparing a formal tender or auction to effectuate the sale.
