Senior officials from neighbouring projects were present during the occasion and joined in recognising the performance. Since commissioning, Rampur HPS has consistently set multiple benchmarks in generation and already met its design energy target of 1,878 mn units for FY 2025–26 on eight December 2025, the company reported it as the fastest attainment since commissioning. Operational teams applied systematic maintenance regimes and performance monitoring to optimise generation.\n\nThe station’s robust output reinforces its role in regional power supply and contributes to broader energy objectives while underlining operational resilience. SJVN management indicated that continued attention to maintenance, plant optimisation and workforce training will be prioritised to sustain and build on current performance. The company signalled expectations of further achievements as it seeks to enhance reliability and generation efficiencies across its portfolio. The achievement is expected to bolster confidence among stakeholders and support planning for peak demand periods.
