Solaire Targets Rs. 10 bn Revenue, Builds 5 GWh Battery Plant

Solaire, the solar inverter and energy storage brand of Lagnuvo, will serve as Premiere Inverter and Storage Partner at Renewable Energy India Expo 2026 in Greater Noida from 22 to 24 October. The company is targeting revenue of Rs. 10 bn in 2027 and is building a battery manufacturing facility with a planned capacity of up to 5 GWh at full build-out.

The event will be held at the India Expo Centre and Mart. Organiser Informa Markets describes the exhibition as Asia's largest renewable energy platform, giving Solaire a prominent position in the inverter and storage category. The company is using the event to present its portfolio to engineering, procurement and construction contractors and distributors.

India's installed solar capacity reached 162.15 GW on 30 June 2026, within a renewable energy base of 288.58 GW, according to figures submitted by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy to the Rajya Sabha. The country added 26 GW of solar capacity during the first half of calendar 2026, a 43 per cent year-on-year increase, according to JMK Research.

Solaire offers on-grid string inverters, hybrid solar systems, utility-scale solutions and lithium batteries. Its hybrid inverters connect with the company's energy storage systems (ESS), including residential units, commercial lithium iron phosphate cabinets and utility-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS). The integrated range is designed to provide a single warranty and service network.

The company operates an Indian manufacturing and assembly facility and has 28 years of power electronics experience through its parent. Solaire was launched in 2023 after Lagnuvo expanded from uninterruptible power supply and backup systems into inverter manufacturing. Its products have warranty cover of up to 10 years, while its grid-connected range is certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) to IS 16221-2:2015. Solaire said the facility under construction is intended to support India's growing storage requirement, which the Central Electricity Authority estimates at 411.4 GWh by 2031-32.

Cement Prices Likely to Rise Rs. 10-15 per Bag from Mid-October

Cement manufacturers in India are likely to raise prices by Rs. 10-15 per bag from mid-October, as they seek to offset persistent increases in power and fuel costs. Emkay Research said its channel checks indicated a high probability of an increase from October 12, supported by the start of the busy construction season and favourable demand-supply conditions. The sector had implemented similar rate adjustments of Rs. 10-15 per bag during the first quarter, but the increases were insufficient to cover higher operating costs. Prices also softened during July and August because of the monsoon, wid..
