Solidus Techno Power Delivers 27.31 MWh BESS for 50 MW Solar Project

Solidus Techno Power has delivered a 27.31 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) integrated with a 50 MW solar project for SBF Ispat. The company provided comprehensive engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the project, expanding its presence across integrated renewable energy and storage solutions.

The delivery strengthens Solidus Techno Power’s solar and energy storage portfolio. It also supports the company’s broader strategy of combining renewable energy development and EPC capabilities with battery storage manufacturing through its subsidiary XenRosh ESS.

Solidus said the project represents a milestone in its expansion into integrated solar and energy storage solutions. The company is positioning storage alongside solar generation as part of its offering to customers seeking to use renewable power more effectively and manage energy requirements with greater flexibility.

Jaspal Singh, chief executive officer and co-founder of Solidus Techno Power, said the combination of solar power and battery storage could give industries greater flexibility in using renewable energy. His comments highlighted the role of storage in improving the practical use of power generated from solar projects.

Harvinder Singh, managing director of Solidus Techno Power, said the project had strengthened the company’s integrated clean-energy portfolio. He added that XenRosh ESS was expanding its BESS manufacturing capabilities with a focus on quality, safety and reliability.

Through XenRosh ESS, Solidus is developing manufacturing capabilities for battery energy storage systems to serve the expanding market. The subsidiary’s activities complement Solidus’s EPC and renewable energy development businesses, giving the group an integrated presence across project execution, energy generation and storage equipment manufacturing.
