VA Tech WABAG has secured an order worth Rs 465 million from RenewSys India to provide end-to-end water management solutions for its upcoming 2 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, Telangana.

The scope of work covers the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation and commissioning of an Ultrapure Water (UPW) system, an Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), and a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system. The project is to be executed within 11 months, the company said in a statement.

V.
