Greenply Industries has forayed into the Medium Density Fiber (MDF) boards business. The greenfield manufacturing plant would be setup in Vadodara District, Gujarat, with an estimated cost of Rs.5.48 bn. For this purpose, the Board of Directors of the company announced the acquisition of Baahu Panels as a wholly owned subsidiary. The plant with an installed capacity of 800 cu m per day would have the revenue potential of  Rs.6-6.5 bn per annum at its peak utilisation.
