Diamond Power completes expansion

Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd, which is into power transmission and distribution, recently completed its Rs 125-crore expansion involving doubling the capacity of its high tension cables to 5,600 km per annum and the low tension cable capacity to 33,800 km per annum. The trial run of these cables is being executed at the company's new unit at Vadodara. The company's 2000-km per annum extra high voltage (220-550 KV) expansion will start production by June 2010 and the 48,000 MT transmission tower project will be commissioned by April 2010.
