TCS, Kingfisher Deepen Partnership for AI-Led Retail Efficiency

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services and consulting, has expanded its 15-year partnership with UK-based home improvement retailer Kingfisher Plc to accelerate digital transformation through artificial intelligence (AI) and automation.

Under the new agreement, both companies will establish a joint ‘Innovation and Automation Office’ to integrate emerging technologies and practices that drive operational efficiency and reduce costs.

TCS will enhance Kingfisher’s IT infrastructure using its SaaS-based AIOps platform, ignio™, and generative AI-powered Application Reliability Engineering solution. These technologies will enable predictive and proactive management of Kingfisher’s systems.

Kingfisher, which operates over 1,900 stores across the UK and Europe under banners including B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama, Brico Dépôt, and TradePoint, relies on TCS for digital engineering, SAP integration, and business process services.
