As India’s construction sector embraces digital transformation, Brick & Bolt emerges as a key driver. This excerpt from CW’s interview with Mr Jayesh Rajpurohit, Co-Founder and CEO, of Brick&Bolt, highlights how Advantix integrates AI, data insights, and tech-led execution to deliver transparency, efficiency, and sustainability.Q. With Advantix, Brick & Bolt has expanded from residential to commercial construction. How does the technology differ in scale, complexity, or data use?At Brick & Bolt, our goal has always been to bring structure and transparency to construction. With Advantix, we’ve taken this forward. Residential construction focuses on a seamless, personalised experience, while commercial projects demand scalability, richer data insights, and multi-stakeholder coordination.Advantix unites advisory, design, construction, and post-construction functions on one platform. By analysing vast datasets — from FSI norms to market demand — it builds predictive models and enables real-time collaboration for faster, smarter decision-making.Q. AI powers Advantix’s Asset Recommendation Engine (ARE). How does it identify the best use for a land parcel? The Asset Recommendation Engine is a breakthrough tool that brings together a variety of datasets, and analyses legal feasibility, costs, yield, and demand forecasts. Its multi-layered AI model simulates various asset types — residential, retail, warehousing, or mixed-use — and ranks them by profitability and strategic fit. It turns underused land into data-backed investment opportunities. It is a game changer in unlocking the true potential of underutilised land.Q. Your QASCON framework redefined transparency in homebuilding. How is it being enhanced for commercial projects?QASCON — Quality Assessment & Standardisation in Construction — has been at the cornerstone of our success in residential market. It ensures quality through automated reports and on-site checks covering civil, electrical, and architectural work. For commercial builds, we’ve upgraded it with BIM integration and IoT-based site monitoring. The live dashboard now offers tailored access for investors, consultants, and clients, with API links to their systems. Every phase is tracked to maintain precision and accountability.Q. How is Brick & Bolt using technology to improve predictability, efficiency, and compliance?Construction has long suffered from fragmentation and low digitisation. We tackle this using AI-driven project management, IoT monitoring, and data analytics to forecast timelines and budgets accurately — reducing delays by up to 40 per cent. Our Smart Cost Calculator adds transparency with real-time, itemised pricing, while the Connoisseur Collection offers curated designs and floor plans, simplifying decision-making and execution.Q. Advantix integrates advisory, design, execution, and property management into one ecosystem. What tech infrastructure supports this?Advantix platform is architecture is designed to run on a modular yet unified system, connecting every stage via a common data pipeline. A zoning change, for instance, automatically and without any manual intervention, updates design recommendations, budgets, and timelines. We are also embedding blockchain-based smart contracts and AI-driven facility-management modules to manage assets post-handover — ensuring seamless orchestration of the entire lifecycle, beyond just integration.Q. Innovation defines Brick & Bolt. How do you nurture it, and what recent initiatives stand out? We’ve grown to 800-plus professionals across ten cities over the last year alone, adding leadership roles and promoting cross-functional learning. We offer a competent skill training and learning environment with transparent career paths and performance-based rewards, to foster growth and creativity.By automating HR and internal systems, we’ve gone fully paperless, allowing teams to focus on innovation. This digital-first culture drives both speed and scale.Q. Which emerging technologies will shape India’s construction future, and how is Brick & Bolt preparing?India is entering a tech-led construction era driven by AI, sustainability, and smart infrastructure. Integrating IoT sensors, automation, and predictive maintenance will make projects more energy-efficient and cost-effective.We’re investing in climate-conscious construction models, AI-assisted design tools, and on-site automation with hardware start-ups. Our aim is to lead this transformation — responsibly, efficiently, and at scale.Pull Out Quotes: 1. Our aim is to lead this transformation — responsibly, efficiently, and at scale.2.
