Uttar Pradesh has drawn up the contours of an ambitious Olympic Park near the upcoming Noida international airport, comes close on the heels of the Centre expressing its intent to have an Indian city host the world's biggest sporting event in 2036. The Noida Olympic village will come up on 130 acres and have 5,000 housing units, primarily 3 and 4 BHK flats. Also 29 arenas will be dedicated to different Olympic sports. The UP government has planned several big projects with the airport in Jewar at the centre in the Yamuna Expressway region.
