GSK Pharma to set up manufacturing unit

GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals is setting up a Rs 1,000 crore pharmaceutical manufacturing unit in Karnataka. The facility, being built on 50 acre in Vemgal, will be operational in 2017. The facility will include a warehouse, site infrastructure, employee welfare centre and utilities to support the manufacturing and packing of medicines.
