Mollo Group Buys Truck Mobil Unit, Expands Operations into Marche

Mollo Group, a leading national provider of rental equipment for construction, industry, agriculture and events, has acquired the rental division of Truck Mobil S.r.l. The deal covers the company’s two locations in the Ascoli Piceno province—San Benedetto del Tronto and Monteprandone—marking Mollo Group’s first entry into the Marche region.

Truck Mobil, founded in 2000 by three partners, has built a strong reputation in the rental of lifting and earth-moving machinery and aerial work platforms. Over the years, under the leadership of Ezio Testa and his family, who eventually became full owners, the company established itself as a key service provider for clients in construction, transport, plant engineering, maintenance and gardening. Its operations have been defined by a technical consulting approach, high safety standards, and a modern, well-maintained fleet backed by operator-assisted rentals, on-site support and prompt deliveries.

The acquisition forms part of Mollo Group’s broader external growth strategy, which has accelerated in recent years. Led by brothers Mauro and Roberto Mollo, the Alba-based company has integrated several firms across Italy to strengthen its national footprint and deliver faster, more accessible rental services aligned with customer needs.

With the integration of Truck Mobil’s rental arm, Mollo Group expands its geographic coverage while offering businesses in Marche access to a wider range of equipment and services supported by digital platforms and specialised personnel.

“We enthusiastically welcome Truck Mobil's rental division and its employees into our large family,” said Mauro Mollo, President, Mollo Group. “Truck Mobil shares our values of professionalism, trust and customer focus, and its deep local experience is an asset. Together, we look forward to creating new synergies and raising service standards even further.”

The acquisition reinforces Mollo Group’s position as a major player in Italy’s equipment rental market, driven by innovation, quality and strong customer orientation.
