Inspira Realty Plans 8-10 Redevelopment Projects in Mumbai

Inspira Realty, a leading Mumbai-based developer and a part of Inspira Global, has announced plans to undertake 8–10 new redevelopment projects across the city’s key western and southern corridors. With this expansion, the firm is poised to exceed its current Gross Development Value (GDV) of Rs 40 billion and drive forward its urban transformation agenda.

The company has commenced the financial year with two development agreements signed in Borivali and Santacruz (W) and is actively negotiating further acquisitions. These projects, expected to span a construction area of 4 million sq ft, are projected to add Rs5,000 crore in GDV over the next 3–5 years.

Western and South Mumbai continue to offer strong redevelopment potential due to ageing infrastructure, limited greenfield space, and dense population clusters. Redevelopment in these zones enables revitalisation while preserving urban character and connectivity.

Currently, Inspira Realty has over 2 million sq.ft. under development across eight projects in neighbourhoods like Chembur, Bandra, Vile Parle, Malad, and Borivali. The company is now accelerating its entry into high-value redevelopment to address the city’s growing housing and infrastructure needs.

Aayush Madhusudan Agrawal, Founder and Director, Inspira Realty, said,

“Redevelopment is shaping the future of Mumbai’s real estate landscape. With our upcoming acquisitions, we are targeting a construction area of 4 million sq.ft., reinforcing our commitment to revitalising aging societies into premium, contemporary living spaces. Inspira Realty remains a key pillar of Inspira Global’s growth, leveraging our expertise to create high-quality assets while driving Mumbai’s urban renewal.”

In line with this strategy, the company is also exploring partnerships with top architectural firms, ESG advisors, and sustainability consultants to deliver projects aligned with best-in-class standards of design, compliance, and environmental responsibility.

Focusing on premium living, strategic connectivity, and modern architecture, Inspira Realty’s redevelopment-led approach aims to enhance quality of life while ensuring strong returns for all stakeholders. By reimagining Mumbai’s older housing stock, the company is contributing to sustainable urban development and future-ready neighbourhoods.
