Amaravati to have integrated smart poles

The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority will install multipurpose poles in Amaravati. The project, for which the authority has identified five locations at the Interim Government Complex (IGC) in Velagapudi, will be rolled out on a pilot basis. An expression of interest (EoI) has been issued by the Amaravati Smart and Sustainable City Corporation from prospective vendors to assess the technologies and their applications available. The smart poles will consist of features such as LED light fixture, surveillance camera, EV charger, etc.
