Concerns on RERA? HDFC Realty is addressing queries from brokers and real estate agents

  • Launches phone helpline to address common FAQs.
  • Sets up RERA registration desks across major HDFC branches.
  • 10,000+ agents and brokers empowered to register effortlessly.

HDFC Realty, the property advisory arm of HDFC, has launched a helpline exclusively for brokers and real estate agents. In addition to the helpline, the leading real estate advisory has also set up registration desks at major HDFC branches across the city. With the recent implementation of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) in the states and UTs, brokers and developers have spun into action to complete the mandatory registration processes within the given deadline. With the objective of educating brokers, HDFC Realty has set up this phone helpline and helpdesks to assist the partners with their queries.

HDFC Realty will assist in reducing the gap in the understanding of the requirements under the new Act. Through this unique initiative, the company assures brokers the proper guidance in collating the required documents, getting necessary approvals, etc, in order to get the registration done in time so as to continue their practice without any hindrances. HDFC Realty will also address the main query of the real estate agents on how the new rules will be executed.

Commenting on the initiative, Renu Sud Karnad, Managing Director, HDFC, said, “The objective of this initiative is to ensure that brokers and real estate agents get the necessary guidance on the procedures involved. Since the implementation of RERA, all the relevant stakeholders have been trying to understand the requirements and this helpline aims to provide information and assistance in registration. The broker network is a close knit community that thrives on day to day business. Hence, this guidance comes as a welcome initiative for them.”

Vikram Goel, CEO, HDFC Realty, said, “It is always our endeavour to assist our PropPartners (real estate agents) in their business. By setting up this helpline and registration desks across our branches, we wanted to provide them multiple facilities, from where they can get quick information regarding the registration procedure and updates related to RERA. In a span of just one week, we have received over hundred calls from our PropPartners and even other brokers seeking assistance and information related to RERA Registrations. Though the service was launched for PropPartners only, we are happy to assist any Real Estate broker looking for assistance and information related to registration.”

HDFC Realty has arranged various educational workshops and events that train real estate agents across India with a vision to ease the procedure of introducing and implementing RERA that will eventually help in streamlining the realty sector.

Real estate agents and brokers can directly reach out to HDFC Realty on the helpline or visit the nearest branch for immediate assistance.

Helpline: 022-6722 1919. Timings: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Available: Monday to Sunday.
