INDEX facilitated the rising demand of the luxury market

The 28th edition of the international interiors, architecture and design show, INDEX by UBM Index Fairs, concluded recently in Mumbai. The event witnessed international participation from Turkey, China and Malaysia, among others. Leading architects and designers, international and domestic buyer delegations, builders and developers from across India attended the show.

Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, UBM India, said, “INDEX 2016 facilitated towards meeting the rising demand of the luxury market, especially in sub sectors of interiors such as architectural fittings, office and home furniture, decor and design, art and kitchen, to name a few.”

LA Khan, Managing Director, UBM Index Trade Fairs, further added, “We believe the investment in design and the strategic partnerships with key agencies such as MCHI-CREDAI and the HPMF paid rich dividends to our exhibitors who reported ‘more than expected’ response to their participation. The participation of important architects who came in with their teams, is a key strength of the event. We look forward to even more international participation in the years ahead and close with a feeling of great satisfaction.”

The show was marked by knowledge forums with content rich sessions, design events, industry meets and launches. A number of novel artistic spaces and workshops added value to the show.
