Embassy Group Launches ‘Embark’ to Streamline GCC Expansion in India

Embassy Group, a leading real estate and business ecosystem developer, has introduced Embark, a fully integrated platform designed to simplify and accelerate the establishment of Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in India. The platform offers end-to-end solutions, enabling global enterprises to design, execute, and scale their India-based GCCs seamlessly.

India is home to over 1,700 GCCs, with more than 400 new entrants in the last five years. The country’s robust STEM talent pool, tech and R&D ecosystem, cost advantages, and stable macroeconomic environment make it an attractive hub for global enterprises. However, setting up a world-class GCC involves complexities related to talent acquisition, organisational design, real estate, compliance, and operational efficiency—challenges that Embark aims to address.

Jitu Virwani, Chairperson and Managing Director of Embassy Group, stated, “With Embark, our goal is to transform the GCC setup experience in India by providing a seamless, strategy-driven, and execution-focused platform that removes complexity and accelerates success.”

Key offerings
  • Strategy & design – Vision alignment, location strategy, and organisational design.
  • India entry & operations – Compliance (legal, HR, finance), infrastructure (office space, IT services), workforce management, and cultural integration.
  • Long-term evolution – Future-ready workforce development, operational excellence, and transformation advisory.

Additionally, Embark will collaborate with WeWork India Management Ltd. to deliver managed office solutions, further enhancing its service offerings for global enterprises.
