Mascot to Develop 385-Acre Industrial Township Near Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad-based developer Mascot Infrastructure has announced plans to establish an integrated industrial township spanning 385 acres at Vithalapur in Ahmedabad district. The project, titled Mascot Industrial City, is positioned to benefit from its proximity to Gujarat’s emerging auto manufacturing hub and key infrastructure corridors.

Strategically located near Vithalapur’s automotive cluster, the township will enjoy seamless connectivity to major economic zones including the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR), GIFT City, and Sanand GIDC, according to the company’s official statement.

Sanjay Patel, Managing Director of Mascot Infrastructure, stated that the township is envisioned as a future-ready industrial and logistics hub in one of India's fastest-growing manufacturing belts. The initiative reflects the company’s sustained commitment to Gujarat’s industrial growth.

Mascot Infrastructure had previously signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, signalling its collaborative intent to contribute to the state's development plans.

The planned township will feature industrial, commercial, and residential zones. Offerings include industrial plots, plug-and-play factory units, warehouses, residential apartments, hotels, schools, and food plazas. The mixed-use layout is aimed at serving a broad range of industries, creating an integrated ecosystem that combines manufacturing, logistics, and urban living.

Designed to meet the evolving demands of modern enterprises, the Mascot Industrial City is expected to enhance regional industrial infrastructure and offer a self-sustained platform for businesses and workers alike.

Gurgaon-Pataudi-Rewari Highway Set for Completion by December 2025

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has set a new target to complete the four-lane Gurgaon-Pataudi-Rewari highway by December 2025, following a two-year delay.Originally planned in 2018 to upgrade the two-lane state highway into a national highway, the project is estimated to cost Rs 9 billion. The Uttar Pradesh state bridge corporation has prepared the detailed project report and cost estimates for two proposed extensions of the 10.3-km Hindon elevated road, officials said on Thursday. Goa is expected to miss the October 31 deadline for submitting its maritime and waterways master plan, which covers the state’s 105 km coastline and river network.
