Prologis Begins 1.1 MSF Logistics Park in North Chennai

Prologis has commenced construction of Prologis Park Redhills CPRR, a Grade A industrial and logistics park with a total development potential of 1.1 million sq ft in North Chennai.
The project is being developed across 51 acres along the Chennai Peripheral Ring Road (CPRR), positioning it within a key emerging logistics and industrial corridor. Redhills becomes Prologis’ third location in Tamil Nadu, alongside facilities in Hosur and Sriperumbudur, taking the company’s total investment in the state to Rs 33 billion across approximately 6.5 million sq ft.
The first phase comprises two buildings spanning about 412,000 sq ft and is expected to be completed by Q3 2027.
Vineet Sekhsaria, Head of India, Prologis, said the development reflects long-term confidence in North Chennai’s growth as a logistics hub, supported by improving infrastructure connectivity.
Strategically located along the 133-km CPRR corridor, the site offers access to key trade gateways including Ennore Port and Kattupalli Port, while strengthening linkages to major highways such as the Chennai–Kolkata route.
At full build-out, the park will feature modern warehousing and industrial facilities with specifications including 34-metre-wide truck courts, 12-metre clear heights, and robust power infrastructure, catering to large-format logistics and manufacturing occupiers.
The campus is designed as an integrated, professionally managed development offering both standardised warehousing and build-to-suit options, aligning with increasing demand from port-linked industries and third-party logistics operators seeking scalable, high-efficiency infrastructure.
