U-Sphere Bags First Private Project with Ceenex in Thiruvananthapuram

U-Sphere, the high-tech construction arm of ULCCS, has secured its first major private sector project: the design and construction of a new training facility for Canada-based Ceenex Global Computer Private Limited in Sasthamangalam, Thiruvananthapuram. The agreement was signed by Remeshan Palery, Director, U-Sphere, and Muhammed Irfan, Director, Ceenex Global.

As part of the project, U-Sphere will deliver the core structural framework and building envelope within a fast-tracked seven-month schedule. This facility will serve as a key hub for Ceenex’s initiatives across e-governance, healthcare, energy, and smart mobility, strengthening Kerala’s position as a destination for technology investments.

Fariz A Razaq, COO, U-Sphere, said,“This partnership with Ceenex marks a strategic milestone for U-Sphere, showcasing our capability to deliver world-class, tech-enabled construction that is both sustainable and will be completed in record time. We are committed to advancing our construction journey with intent, innovation, and meaningful impact.”

The project is set to generate both direct and indirect employment, spanning construction and high-skill tech roles. U-Sphere aims to create over 1,000 jobs and secure Rs 20 billion worth of projects across Kerala, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu over the next five years.

Muhammed Irfan, Director, Ceenex Global, added, “We needed a partner who shares our vision and agility—U-Sphere brought both. This is just the beginning of a long-term collaboration rooted in shared ambition and execution excellence.”

Operating across seven countries, Ceenex specialises in cybersecurity, DevOps, big data, and digital infrastructure. The new facility is a key part of its India growth plan and will boost innovation and employment locally.

Launched during ULCCS’s centenary celebrations, U-Sphere champions pre-engineered, modular, and sustainable construction, leveraging AI, IoT-enabled monitoring, and digital project tools to accelerate timelines and reduce environmental impact.

The Ceenex project marks a shift in how infrastructure supports innovation in Kerala. Through such partnerships, U-Sphere aims to shape a forward-looking construction ecosystem that delivers global standards with local relevance.
