Bentley Systems announces 2026 Year in Infrastructure winners

Bentley Systems has announced the winners of its 2026 Year in Infrastructure Awards, recognising projects that use digital technologies and Bentley software across the infrastructure lifecycle. The awards were presented during the Bentley Systems 2026 Year in Infrastructure Event, held in Singapore on October 6 and 7.
More than 300 projects from organisations in 53 countries were nominated this year. Winners were selected across 12 categories by an independent judging panel.

The 2026 winners included AYESA Engineering’s Porto Metro 3.0 project in the Bridges and Tunnels category; Pinnacle Future Build’s Pinnacle Infotech Digital Twin Madurai Campus in Cities and Facilities; Wills Bros’ Dublin Port MP2 Berth 52 and 53 in Construction; and South-to-North Water Diversion and POWERCHINA Zhongnan Engineering’s Chongqing Yunyang Jianquan Pumped Storage Digital Power Station in Energy Production.

Other winners included Aboitiz Renewables’ GeoShield in Geospatial and Reality Modeling, Port Polska in Project Delivery, SUDOP PRAHA’s HSR Central Bohemia project in Rail and Transit, and the River Torrens to Darlington Project in Roads and Highways.

PT Wijaya Karya Bangunan Gedung’s Jakarta International Stadium project won in Structural Engineering, while Intertechne Consultores’ Tailings Dam Modeling and Assessment project won in Subsurface Modeling and Analysis. APD Global’s Clean Energy Link-North won in Transmission and Distribution, and Evides’ Water Distribution Operational Digital Twins at Scale won in Water and Wastewater.

Bentley also recognised 17 projects with Founders’ Honors, selected by the company’s founders and executives. Indian recipients included WSP Global’s iTwin AI Project Lifecycle Intelligence Platform in the Connected Data category, Almondz Global Infra Consultant’s NAKSHA in Digital Twin at Scale, and Pinnacle Future Build’s project in the main awards.

Cate Lochead, Chief Marketing Officer, Bentley Systems, said this year’s finalists had moved beyond traditional workflow digitalisation by connecting data across lifecycle phases and engineering disciplines and using AI to support infrastructure decision-making.

She added that an open ecosystem enabling infrastructure professionals to connect data and preferred software would be important to applying AI to complex infrastructure challenges.
