Hikrobot India Showcases Machine Vision, Mobile Robots at Automation Expo

Hikrobot India participated in the Automation Expo 2025, held from 11–14 August at BEC, Goregaon, Mumbai, presenting its range of Machine Vision and Mobile Robot solutions. The event is Asia’s largest automation technology platform for warehousing, logistics, material handling, automation, and supply chain sectors.

At its booth, Hikrobot India launched the 3D Laser Profile Sensor and Smart Code Reader with Liquid Lens. The sensor, based on laser triangulation measurement, delivers high-frame point clouds, depth images, and intensity images at micrometre-level precision in real time. It is suited for non-contact, high-precision online 3D measurement in industries such as consumer electronics, lithium batteries, and PCBs.

The Hikrobot ID3000 series Smart Code Reader is designed for industrial use, offering built-in deep learning algorithms, high-speed code reading, modular design, IP67 protection, and multiple communication protocols. Applications include industrial automation in sectors like electronics, lithium battery manufacturing, tobacco, medicine, photovoltaics, automobiles, and PCBs, as well as logistics and warehouse management for high-speed inventory tracking.

Other showcased products included 3D cameras, area scan cameras, smart cameras, handheld readers, and key vision components. The SC1000 Smart Camera features six tools: pattern match, colour detection, H-counts, logic tools, measurement tools, and basic OCR support. Mobile Robot highlights were the QF Series AMR, ideal for pallet handling, and the Tugger AMR for auto-tugging trolleys in internal logistics.

The SC1000 series vision sensor combines the capabilities of vision detection systems with the simplicity of sensors. Equipped with high-precision algorithms and embedded AI modules, it addresses applications such as presence/absence detection, classification, and measurement. Hikrobot’s Machine Vision display also included static and dynamic DWS systems.

Commenting on the participation Ashish P. Dhakan, MD & CEO, Prama Hikvision India, said: “The latest industrial automation trends are helping the cause of sustainability and net zero goals. We have launched 3D Laser Profile Sensor and Smart Code Reader with Liquid Lens with a big fanfare. Automation Expo is one of the leading platforms to showcase our Machine Vision and Mobile Robot solutions for the various verticals. It showcases the latest in smart manufacturing, digital transformation, and sustainable industrial growth.”

The Automation Expo featured live product demos, technology showcases, and networking opportunities, attracting professionals from across India. Hikrobot India’s display focused on IIoT, smart logistics, and smart manufacturing, reinforcing its commitment to advancing intelligent manufacturing processes. The event concluded successfully, offering a platform for industry convergence and insights into automation trends.
