ACCE (I) to Host National Meet on Future High-Rise Buildings

The Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) [ACCE (I)], Hyderabad Centre, will host a Two-Day National Conference on ‘Next-Gen Highrise Buildings – Advancements in Composite and Steel Structures’ on 11th and 12th July 2025 at ESCI Campus, Centenary Convention Centre, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

The event is expected to draw 800 participants from across India, including engineers, builders, architects, and policymakers, creating a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange. More than 14 eminent speakers will share expert insights on structural stability, sustainability, and innovative techniques in high-rise construction.

As urban centres face pressure to grow vertically, the conference will address challenges in structural design, resilience, and climate-conscious construction. Sessions will delve into composite and steel systems, smart infrastructure, disaster-resistant design, digital tools, and green building practices.

“We are not just constructing buildings—we are crafting a sustainable legacy. This conference is a testament to how the civil engineering fraternity is redefining urban growth with resilience, innovation, and responsibility,” said Rajkumar Kacharla, President South and Vice President, ACCE (I).

Er. Kashiram Adepu, governing council member and former chairman, ACCE (I) Hyderabad, added, “Urban growth, especially in tier I and II cities, necessitates vertical expansion. This event will act as a catalyst to drive engineers, policymakers, and innovators towards safer, smarter, and sustainable practices.”

Er. Bheem Rao Jaligama, Vice-Chairman and In-charge Chairman, ACCE (I) Hyderabad, noted, “This conference is a vibrant step towards smarter and more sustainable urban development, encouraging innovation and resilience.”

Highlighting the importance of collaboration, Er. C. Ramesh, Hon. Secretary, ACCE (I), said, “This platform fosters knowledge-sharing, drives innovation, and reinforces sustainable development through research-backed practice.”

The conference aims to shape the future of urban infrastructure by advancing smart, sustainable, and resilient high-rise solutions. It is open to professionals, builders, students, and the media. Delegate registration is now open, with early-bird discounts available until 25th June 2025. Concession rates apply for ACCE (I) and INSTRUCT members, supporting organisations, and students (limited to the first 100 student entries). All registration fees include 18 per cent GST.

Jai Raj Steel ATOOT is the title sponsor, with Kirby Building Systems and Unitech Structural Systems Private Limited also supporting the initiative.
