Anant Raj Cloud, Orange Business Sign Haryana MoU for Global Data

Anant Raj Cloud Singapore and Orange Business Services Singapore have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Haryana government to promote the state as a destination for overseas data workloads and develop its position as a hub for data centres, cloud services and artificial intelligence infrastructure. The agreement was signed through Haryana’s Department of Industries and Commerce.

The partnership is intended to facilitate the hosting of overseas data in Haryana and support the international marketing of cloud and data-centre services developed in the state. Anant Raj Cloud Singapore will market Ashok Cloud, Anant Raj’s cloud platform, and data-centre services hosted in Haryana, while working to onboard overseas customers seeking to store data in the state.

The initiative builds on Anant Raj’s June 2026 commitment under the Make in Haryana programme, when it signed an MoU with the state and committed Rs. 250 bn to develop data-centre infrastructure. Through group entities, the company has committed to developing around 307 MW of IT load across campuses in Manesar, Panchkula and Rai. Further investment will be made in phases, subject to demand, commercial viability and regulatory approvals.

Anant Raj currently operates data-centre facilities at its Manesar and Panchkula campuses, where capacity expansion is under way. Its Rai campus in Sonipat has potential capacity of around 200 MW of IT load. Anant Raj managing director Amit Sarin said the agreement would extend the state’s digital infrastructure capabilities to overseas markets and support a broader customer base.

Orange Business will explore a technology-partner role covering data-centre development and cloud services, including infrastructure for artificial intelligence workloads and high-performance computing. Its proposed responsibilities include technology architecture, cloud and AI hardware, technical expertise and support for Anant Raj Cloud Singapore’s international go-to-market efforts.

Haryana’s Data Centre Policy 2026 offers incentives for investment in data-centre infrastructure. The companies said India’s competitive capital and operating costs, along with the state’s policy support and proximity to major business markets, would help attract technology-led investment and overseas workloads.
