Atlas Copco Launches Emergency Trash Pumps

Atlas Copco has recently launched a new range of Emergency Trash Pumps (ETP) to strengthen its dewatering portfolio. The pumps are designed to provide a portable and reliable solution for rapid water removal in challenging site conditions across construction, mining, quarrying and industrial applications.

The petrol-powered Emergency Trash Pumps are built to handle water containing solid debris such as sediments, organic matter, sand and stones, which can clog conventional pumps. Compact and lightweight, the range offers contractors and site operators a rapid-response solution for stormwater control, stream diversion, system cleaning and settlement removal.

The new ETP range includes seven models for clean water and dirty water applications. Clean water units are suited for water transfer, tank filling and system cleaning, offering flow rates of up to 1,600 litre per minute and a maximum head of up to 60 metre. These models offer suction of up to 7 metre and can handle solids of up to 8 mm in diameter.

For wastewater and more demanding dewatering applications, the ETP models can handle solids of up to 29 mm in diameter. Built with cast iron frames and impellers, the pumps are designed for harsh site conditions and floodwater use. They deliver flow rates of up to 1,300 litre per minute, a maximum head of up to 30 metre and suction of up to 7 metre.

Atlas Copco has focused on portability, easy handling and simplified maintenance in the new range. The pumps feature lifting handles, quick deployment capability, open-frame construction and accessible components for faster servicing. Safety features such as exhaust protection and stable frame construction support dependable operation in demanding environments.
