Dhoot Industries Group was honoured with the BAI-Padma Shri B.G. Shirke Lifetime Achievement Award at the 28th ‘BAI-Shirke Well-Built Structure Award 2024’ in Pune by the Builders Association of India (BAI). Ramesh Dhoot, representing the group, shared his journey from a small contractor to a successful business leader. Avinash Patil, Director of the State Urban Planning Department, stressed the need for greater emphasis on documentation and safety while urging developers to lead rural projects. The event also celebrated contributions from Pride Builders, Nirman Developers, Phoenix Group, Escon Projects, and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.The five-storey KSRTC bus terminal in Davanagere won the prestigious 'Best Infrastructure' regional award. Built under the Smart City initiative for Rs 1.2 billion, the terminal spans 9 acres and features shopping centres, cinemas, and modern transport facilities. With a capacity for 46 buses, it includes dedicated nursing rooms, dining options, and parking for 500 two-wheelers and 104 cars. This marks Davanagere Smart City Limited's sixth regional award, highlighting the city's growing infrastructure needs.
