BharatRohan Expands Farmer Network And Enters D2C Market In H1 FY26

BharatRohan Airborne Innovations Limited, one of India’s leading vertically integrated agri-tech companies specialising in hyperspectral drone technology and precision-agriculture solutions, has announced its unaudited financial results for the half year ended 30 September 2025. The company continued to strengthen its presence in the agriculture ecosystem through expansion of its drone-based crop-monitoring services, the growth of its agri-input distribution network, and the launch of a new direct-to-consumer (D2C) range of drone-monitored, traceable and chemical-residue-free food products sourced directly from farmers. This strategic step marks BharatRohan’s entry into the consumer market, reinforcing its commitment to delivering safe, traceable and high-quality food while advancing precision-farming adoption across India.

Operational Highlights Significant Growth in Paying Farmers BharatRohan is now serving 55,180 farmers across 226,789 acres. Of these, 22,512 farmers (40.7 per cent) are paying subscribers to its flagship CropAssure® service. This marks a substantial increase of 9,783 paying farmers (43.46 per cent) since 31 March 2025. Paying farmers rose from 12,729 to 22,512, total farmer count increased from 50,000 to 55,180, and acreage under service expanded from 200,000 acres to 226,789 acres. Launch of D2C Brand The company introduced a domestic D2C range of drone-monitored, traceable and residue-free spices, pulses and oilseeds—marking a major step towards providing clean, safe and transparent food to consumers. Pragati Card Introduced BharatRohan operationally launched the Pragati Card, a benefits and loyalty programme offering credit (enabled through partner lenders), exclusive discounts, agronomic advisory and rewards. This initiative deepens farmer engagement and supports a closed-loop incentive system encouraging adoption of drone-based advisory, biological inputs and integrated crop-management practices. Partnership with Arya.ag – Project Unnati The company is executing drone-spraying operations across Bihar, Jharkhand and Maharashtra with SMART Farmer Producer Companies, supported by API-based data sharing for real-time insights—strengthening climate resilience among smallholder farmers. Rise in Residue-Free Farming An increasing number of farmers are transitioning to residue-free and ICM-based cultivation. BharatRohan’s hyperspectral advisories enable detection of crop issues before symptoms appear, allowing timely interventions and reducing chemical overuse.

Brand Expansion & Marketing Launch on Swiggy Instamart BharatRohan’s residue-free spices, pulses and oilseeds are now available on Swiggy Instamart, expanding its reach in urban quick-commerce channels. Rural-Market Branding The company executed traditional wall paintings and digital wall branding across key rural clusters, enhancing brand recall and promoting grassroots agri-tech adoption. BIOFACH 2025 Participation BharatRohan showcased its residue-free and ICM-grown staples at BIOFACH 2025, strengthening global visibility in natural, clean and chemical-free food categories. Digital Engagement A combined chatbot-support and educational-reels campaign was launched to educate farmers and increase adoption of BharatRohan’s services.

With rapid expansion of farmer engagement, a strong push into residue-free D2C foods, and growing adoption of precision-agriculture tools, BharatRohan is well positioned to accelerate its impact across India’s agri-value chain in the coming quarters.
