Bobcat launches TL619 telehandler: multipurpose machine

The new Bobcat TL619 telehandler is a multipurpose machine for landscaping, construction, snow removal and many other purposes.

It features a cab that has been recreated for comfort, a turbocharged engine and easy-access service points. Bobcat additionally provided it with a mixture of power and agility to fulfil the task, be it stacking, backfilling, lifting or reaching.

The TL619 has a lift height of 19 feet and a load capacity of 5,500 pounds. With an optional add-on counterweight, operators can develop the telehandler’s rated capacity throughout the lift cycle to decrease repetitive jobs and finish jobs quickly.

The 74-horsepower Tier 4 Final engine provides high torque and attains emissions compliance without using a diesel particulate filter or selective catalyst deduction. The new engine provides reliable cold-weather starting and characteristics that make maintenance and service more suitable, Bobcat told the media.

Five operation modes provide operators with improved versatility. Eco mode enables the operator to hold hydraulic performance without utilising the engine’s full power – working with lower rpms, less fuel and less noise. Smooth Drive is ideal for manoeuvring across job sites with mild acceleration and deceleration while carrying loads. Dynamic Drive improves the responsiveness of the telehandler’s acceleration and deceleration for travelling between jobs. Flex Drive lets the operator handle the engine speed alone from travel speed. Advanced Attachment Control permits for full auxiliary hydraulic performance.

The TL619 was developed to include sleek and efficient Bobcat R-Series styling and improved visibility. The low-profile boom is below the operator's eye level for an open view of the surroundings. The redeveloped engine basket sits lower for an improved line of sight.
