Bridgestone India, part of the Bridgestone group, a global leader in tyres and rubber that provides solutions for safe and sustainable mobility, has further expanded its Flagship Select Store network by launching additional four new Select outlets in Hyderabad. With 46 stores now in Hyderabad, these stores are designed to transform the tyre buying and servicing experience by addressing the evolving needs of Indian consumers.
Powered by a strong premium network, the Bridgestone Select Stores provide an interactive and educational journey that empowers customers to make informed decisions about their tyre choices. The store also offers demonstrations to customers to understand the impact that each of the tyre services provides and helps customers get the best out of their tyre.
“Hyderabad is an important market for us, and we’re proud to expand this pioneering concept of Select stores in the city. Bridgestone is committed to provide superior Products and Services to customers in line with its mission of serving society with superior quality. At Bridgestone, we’ve consistently led in enhancing customer experience, and these stores will help customers in Hyderabad to make informed tyre choices tailored to their needs. It also offers our dealers a unique, differentiated format to drive more walk-ins. As tyres are the only point of contact between a vehicle and the road, the store is designed to offer customers premium products, services, and an elevated buying experience through its exclusive network.” said Hiroshi Yoshizane, Managing Director, Bridgestone India.
Currently Bridgestone has robust network of 3,200 dealers, including 820 Bridgestone Select outlets in India.
Bridgestone India has Select stores across key locations such as New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Bangalore, Kolhapur, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The Select stores aim to fulfil a long-standing need for a smarter tyre retail format. They not only assist in choosing the right tyre but also demonstrate the impact by providing premium customer experience through tyre and allied services.
Bridgestone India, currently holding a 20% market share in the passenger car aftermarket, aims to stay invested in the market and continue to grow our share. To achieve this ambitious, Bridgestone India continues to lead the way in creating consumer-first tyre retail spaces that combine innovation, convenience, and safety.
Bridgestone’s manufacturing strength is anchored by its plants in Indore and Pune. It cumulatively produces over 30,000 tyres a day, with 19,500 tyres at the Indore plant and 11,000 tyres at the Pune plant with plans to expand annual capacity from 10 million to 11.1 million tyres by 2029, supported by a fresh investment of $85 million. Its flagship Turanza 6i, an EV-ready premium tyre, and the rugged Dueler A/T for SUV enthusiasts, have been well received in the market.
