Desco Infratech (Desco Infratech) has completed and commissioned a major underground cable infrastructure project awarded by a company belonging to the KP Group at Hansot in Gujarat. The project involved laying and commissioning of an underground power cable network measuring 9,150 metres and marks a notable operational achievement for the company. The contract award and completion underscore Desco Infratech’s growing presence in India’s power and energy infrastructure sector.

The scope included horizontal directional drilling based cable laying, installation of high density polyethylene pipes, cable jointing works, optical fibre cable laying, testing, commissioning and allied infrastructure activities. The Group Company issued a work completion certificate confirming completion of approximately 9,150 metres of cable laying and commissioning. The execution was completed within the targeted schedule while adhering to quality, operational and safety standards.
